The Empowering Youth Project hosted 2 charity golf tournaments at Meadowwood Golf Course, raising over $36,000.  In our first year, we were able to provide funds to Daybreak Youth Services, enabling them to expand the number of high school kids that they could help, by subsidizing the costs.  Next, we chose 2nd Harvest School Pantry and with our donation, they were able to expand to additional schools by offering 20-pound boxes of food to kids in need who might otherwise go without food at home. This last year, we helped to find a cure for pediatric cancer and also helped fund a wish for a local high school teen.
